New Parents | Bringing Baby Home | Starting a Family | What to Expect When You're Expecting

It's no surprise that your relationship changes when you bring children into the picture.  It is important to have a strong relationship with your spouse so you can raise strong children and weather the storms they bring your way. At Marriage Solutions, we have locations in Tulsa and OKC so no matter where you live, you can find the help that you need.

There is some fear about what to expect when you begin to plan for children.  When we are young we are told, "if you look at the opposite gender, you're going to get pregnant".  But as we get older and things change some of us realize just how difficult it truly can be to have a baby.  It takes work sometimes...and...effort.

Sometimes couples struggle with the inability to conceive and sometimes couples just need to know what to expect when they are expecting (as the famous movie title puts it).

But what can be so surprising is when we begin with the fear of having a child before we are ready and then when it doesn't happen so easily as we were told, we then worry it may never happen.  We go from, "oh maybe we'll have one or two" to "Let's have five or ten!"  We see our friends with babies and think "how did it happen so easily for them?"

No one tells us when we are young that, oh by the way, you will only have TWO fertile days a month so get crackin!

If you are struggling to have children, you are pregnant, or you have just had a baby and would like to work on your relationship, we can help you.

We want to help you work through the fear and pain, at whatever point in the baby making process, together with your spouse so you don't fall apart.  You can have a strong relationship no matter what happens in the family expansion process. Contact one of our two locations. We have one in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, and serve a number of surrounding areas.
